OUR STORY

Arthur Stewart and his family purchased Cable Hollow from John and Marge Bortz in 2022. Arthur played golf at Cable Hollow when it opened in 1968. Set in wooded hills, Cable Hollow has always been beautiful; but over 50 years of ownership, John and Marge Bortz added irrigation, drainage and new holes that, combined, made Cable Hollow the finest course in the region.

The Stewarts have hired the award-winning golf course architectural firm, Albanese and Lutzke, to guide a multi-year, multi-million-dollar golf course improvement plan. From amazing stonework to greens inspired by Augusta, Bay Hill, and other world-class courses, Cable offers exceptional golf for golfers of all skill levels. When you are done with your round enjoy a quick $9 special or bring your entire clan for fine family dining at the Timberstone Restaurant.

The Stewarts have also constructed the Timber Haven Event Center. Timber Haven is air-conditioned, heated and can host up to 250 guests for tournaments, weddings, reunions and other special events. And finally, Cable Hollow now offers "stay-and-play" with a guest house that overlooks the entire golf course.
